Your resume and cover letter get you in the door, but your interview helps employers understand who you are, what you can contribute, and why you’re a good fit for the position.

Before you interview:

  • Review the job description
  • Research and learn about the organization
  • Prepare examples that highlight your skills and experiences
  • Prepare questions for the employer
  • Arrive early and dress appropriately

Need additional practice? Book a mock interview session at Career Services to boost your confidence, describe your abilities and nail your next interview. Counselors will meet you where you are at in the process. We can help with brainstorming responses, identifying skills, or practicing a mock interview with personalized feedback.
