Electrical Engineer Essential Functions:Apply Aerospace Standard Engineering /Design practices to Aircraft Systems, Cabin Interior Systems, Cabin Management Systems, High Speed Data/Communications Systems, Entertainment Systems, Lighting Systems, Water/Waste Systems.Ability to implement system concepts from design packages, Statements of Work, schematic diagrams and/or floor plans Sketch rough layouts to review with Project Engineer or Project Manager;Review and properly apply product cut sheets and technical information;Communicate with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems;Conduct reviews of designs, manufacturing plans and test procedures to ensure compliance with design, performance and certification requirements.Coordinate with other departments and operations (Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Testing, etc.)Contribute to resolution of technical problems, achieving buy-in from cross functional teams.Develop strong understanding of technical requirements and understanding of certification for aviation.Essential Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience in Aviation PreferredPossesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Good understanding of Engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong team player, driven to achieve common goals.Self-Directed, Self-Disciplined and Dependable.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Employ analytical thinking, initiative and creativity in solving engineering problems.
