Green Works Africa is a Tanzanian organisation focusing on community development work. More than 400 universities send students to intern in our programs.

Our Sports sector practical field placements are as follows:
1. Primary and secondary school sports teaching
2. Football Academies development
3. Promoting Community Sports activities
4. Support of children living with disability
We tailor the internship placement to the background and experience of the participating students. Your work includes a weekly plan and reporting, which our professional environmental sector team tutors.
We work with partner NGOs, companies, and the Tanzanian government’s education departments.

The internship outcome is learning to use and get experience implementing your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity. It is also about understanding the opportunities in a fast-growing economy.
The working hours are 6-8 hours from Monday to Friday. As an ongoing program, we can adjust the starting dates.
Paid internships include a local minimum wage/stipend of USD 50 per month.
Starting and end dates are flexible and accommodate other travel arrangements in Tanzania. International flights, Student permits, accommodation, and meals are personal costs.

Academic-level team leaders and Tanzanian football stars are supervising your internship daily. In addition, we monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you proceed well in your study program.
The internship outcome is learning to use and get experience implementing your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity and a better understanding of the opportunities in a fast-growing economy.
Work hours are 6–8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. However, due to the nature of the work, coaching sessions also occur in the evening and on weekends, but then you can have free days during the week.
The start and end dates are flexible and accommodate other travel arrangements in Tanzania.
The international flights, student permits, accommodation, and meals are personal costs.

We need your tentative arrival and departure dates to book you in and open your account.
The Benefits and Perks are as follows:
Accommodation and meals are personal expenses. For 1–13 weeks, EUR 175 per week covers accommodation with breakfast and dinner and the student compound, and from week 14 onwards, it is EUR 125 weekly.
Airport transfer is EUR 60 in one way, a personal expense.
A charity visa for immigration, which costs USD 50, is a personal expense. A multiple-entry visa for less than 12 months is USD 250.
We pay you a USD 50 monthly stipend, which is small but twice Tanzania’s national minimum wage. The grant requires a minimum participation of four weeks.
Flights are a personal expense.
