Core Purpose:
The New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic and collaborative group focused on product development for our reticle handling products as an engineering summer intern. The core purpose of this role is to support the engineering team with testing and characterizing prototype samples, minor design work, researching new technologies, manufacturing method development, etc.
This position reports to the Sr Engineering Manager and receives work instruction from all engineers within the group.
In this role, you will:
• Perform engineering experiments, documenting, analyzing, and reporting results
• Assemble, design, test, manufacture fixtures
• Participate in brainstorming meetings
• Research new technologies
You’re a good fit if you have:
• Hands-on approach to projects
• Attention to detail, good record keeper, neat
• Initiative to be a self-starter, takes on additional tasks without direction, and completes tasks with minimum supervision once trained
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Experience with MS Office
• Would consider students enrolled in a graduate program
Desired Major & Graduation Date:
Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering majors
No special requirement on Graduation Date
