Each quarter, Career Services hosts at least one career fair on campus; in winter, this is the Education Career Fair. In the fall and spring, there are even more events. Every student, regardless of year or major, is encouraged to attend these events, as there is much to gain from the experience (even if you aren’t looking for a job!). Attending career fairs allows students to explore industries and careers, practice networking skills, and find out what recruiters are looking for. The thing is, though, if you want this experience to work for you, you don’t want to go in unprepared.
